Chemicals
Anti-Scaling
To prevent calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate scaling in non-residential systems, anti-scalants are injected upstream from the cartridge filter. These chemicals delay scale formation, reducing precipitation on membrane surfaces. Flushing the membranes with permeate or feed water during shutdown helps displace concentrated solutions. Anti-scalants effectively control scaling, clean membrane surfaces, and disperse colloids and suspended particles, essential for optimal reverse osmosis plant performance.
Bio-CideGas Chlorine
Used to eliminate bacteria on RO and UF membranes, biocides enhance cleaning efficiency and reduce cleaning frequency when added to other cleaning agents. They effectively control bacteria growth and slime formation, are non-oxidizing, compatible with various membrane types, and require only 30 minutes of treatment per week. Easy to use, they offer continuous or discontinuous dosing options.
